Meet Our Crew
Luke Knuttel, General Manager
Luke brings a lifelong connection to the maritime industry, with over two decades of hands-on experience in marina operations and management.
He earned his U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License in 2004, and has served as a charter captain and managing marina facilities in the Florida Keys. Throughout his career, Luke has overseen large-scale marina operations and led teams of more than 100 employees. He completed formal marina management training through the Association of Marina Industries and was designated a Certified Marina Operator (CMO) in 2024.
Luke joined Riviera Dunes Marina in 2020 as Assistant Manager and Dockmaster and was promoted to General Manager in 2023. He leads all aspects of marina operations, including staff development, infrastructure management, customer relations, and strategic planning.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Luke values time spent with his family, sharing his mechanical and horticultural skills with his children. He lives with his wife, Lauren, their children, and their Yellow Lab.
Shana Arredondo, Assistant Manager
Shana has been an integral part of the marina team since 2019, bringing a welcoming presence and a deep commitment to exceptional service. A proud lifelong resident of Manatee County, Shana combines her local knowledge with over 25 years of experience in customer service and administrative support, making her a go-to resource for both guests and fellow team members alike.
With a strong background in managing customer relationships and day-to-day operations, Shana ensures that everything at the marina runs smoothly and efficiently. Her attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and friendly demeanor have earned her the trust and appreciation of boaters and the marina team.
In her personal harbor, Shana takes pride in being a devoted wife and mother. She enjoys boating, discovering the beauty of Florida’s coastline, and making memories with her husband and their two children. Whether she’s assisting members of the boating community or planning the family’s next weekend adventure, Shana brings genuine passion, care, and dedication to everything she does.

“We are on the Great Loop. A slip holder at Riviera is also on the Loop and we contracted with them to use their slip for 6 weeks. Timing worked for both of us. The Marina staff is “over the top”. They helped us into the slip, check on us later that day. Every morning the staff walks the dock. If we are out, they ask again. So happy we chose this marina in addition to the fact that it has floating docks, an amazing restaurant, super helpful staff, $2/load new laundry machines, grassy area for pets and an Aldi and Walmart a mile away for provisioning.
