Once your have all of your beach essentials, from your chairs to your towels and toys, pack your picnic for a no-sweat lunch and to get the most out of your beach day. Then, take a container with you because you’re sure to find all sorts of lovely shells you’ll want to take home. The best of all? 2. There’s plenty of indoor fun, too!

When you need to recover from a sunburn, the fun doesn’t stop when you head indoors. Parkway 8 Cinema is another fabulous indoor option that’s especially great for your budget-friendly vacation. The De Soto National Memorial is a must-see while here in Bradenton, and admission is also free. Surrounded by 26 acres, there are a variety of activities you can enjoy when visiting the park. From December through April, Camp Uzita has live history demonstrations every Thursday–Sunday.
