Free Admission to The Bishop Veterans and Active Duty Military
Veterans and active duty military will receive free admission to The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature for the entire month of November. To receive free admission, mention your service when you arrive at the admissions desk and offer photo I.D.

Sarasota Boat Expo
Held at Robarts Arena Friday through Sunday, this expo will host a dozen new boat dealers offering their latest models. Hands-on seminars led by expert anglers will also be available.

Suncoast Food & Wine Fest
This charity fundraiser will bring thousands to Premier Sports Academy to sample over one hundred wines from around the world. Plenty of food will be offered, too! 1-4pm on Saturday.

Flight to the North Pole Car & Motorcycle Show
In an effort to raise money for a charity that serves terminally and chronically ill children, this holiday event will feature a variety of motorcycles and cars on display. Raffles, door prizes, a silent auction, trophies, music, food, and face painting will also be offered.

Hispanic Fall Festival
For the 17th consecutive year, the Hispanic Fall Festival will feature authentic and delicious cuisine, music, dance, and kids activities! Come out on Saturday from 10am-6pm.

Cruisn’ for Cats & Canines
Interested in exotic automobiles AND adopting a pet? We’ve got the event for you! S&S Motorsports’ 10th anniversary open house will feature all of this and more. Hot rods, food trucks, and libations will be featured with the Humane Society of Sarasota County on-site on Saturday from 10am-3pm.

Veterans Day Block Party
Get ready to party! This free celebration will feature street yoga, a rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner”, color guard, performances by several bands, food and beverages by a variety of restaurants (Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, and Carrabba’s, to name a few), raffle and door prizes, kids activities, and a special appearance by TV star (and local resident), Jerry Springer.

Cortez Stone Crab and Music Festival
This annual festival is returning for the 8th year with a “Peace, Love and Claws” Woodstock theme! Several bands will be performing for those consuming stone crabs right in the commercial fishing village of Cortez on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-6pm.

Bowls of Hope
This fundraiser for All Faiths Food Bank will be serving delicious soups, breads, desserts, and more on Sunday from 11am-2pm! There will be a selection of handcrafted bowls donated by local potters, artists, and students to keep.
